On January 24, 2014, in a thrilling matchup at the Knicks' home court against the Hornets, Carmelo Anthony dominated the game, logging 39 minutes on the court. He connected on 23 of his 35 field goal attempts, including a remarkable 6 out of 11 from beyond the arc, and converted all 10 of his free throws. Anthony's extraordinary performance yielded a spectacular 62 points along with 13 rebounds, with no assists and no turnovers. His true shooting percentage soared to an impressive 78.7%. This achievement shattered both the Knicks' franchise scoring record and the Madison Square Garden single-game scoring mark. Moreover, Anthony became the first NBA player in history to surpass 60 points in a game without committing a single turnover.
